Film Review: DABANGG

DABANGG comes out with THE BANG at the Box office!

He is no doubt the Most WANTED actor today! After the earlier film where he played an undercover cop, here he plays a corrupt police offer who bashes, trashes and splashes the screen with his Chulbul Act as here comes Salman with THE BANG! And what a Bang... it will surefire be a Hit at the Box Office. Whistles, Claps and Repeat value... Well if Rajni-Khan't can do...Then, Salman Khan can do too!!! Salman can be labeled North's Rajnikanth!

Robinhood Chulbul Pandey is not a Hero of the film! Yep, character wise he has negative shades. And that makes him Star par excellence. The Hero who can play a villain to perfection. After other Khan's made it to play the negative character, here comes the MAN - SALMAN who plays the Negative Character so well, that I wish he could play more of this in forthcoming films. No six packs, No brainless comedy and No overacts! But, Bihari Pandey from Uttar Pradesh aka Robinhood makes you laugh and some tears fall down from the cheeks too. The stunts in the film are the major plus point of this rustic Uttar Pradeshish film. Especially the Climax fight is the best fight scene in recent times. And no doubt, this will be the primary reason for Salman fans to go overboard and make the film a super succeess!

Sonakshi Sinha looks fresh, acts confidently and pairs off very well with Salman. Most importantly, she delivers the right expressions and is not overpowered by the galaxy of stars in the cast. And the galaxy includes the family members of Arbaaz Khan and Bhabhi Malaika Badnaam Hui (oops... Munni Badnaam hui is a raunchy sausy item number) and missed out Sohail but had Sonu Sood with Vinod Khanna and Dimple Kapadia for ample support!

Well edited, Excellent Stunts, with Sajid Wajid's songs strategically placed throughout the movie and Abhinav Kashyap's direction Dabangg is a best Gift for cinegoers this Eid and Ganesh time! The Salim Khan family will smile all the way to THE BANG (BANK) for sure.. It is DABANKK!
